Santa Cruz, CA. For the seventh year in a row the Board of Directors of the Nonprofits’ Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC) has declared a dividend to be paid to its member nonprofits in California. NIAC currently insures more than 8,000 nonprofits in California.

For the fifth year in a row the Board of Directors of the Nonprofits’ Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC) has declared a dividend to be paid to its nonprofit members in California. During 2011 and 2012, a dividend of $5 million will be paid to 4,200 nonprofits insured with NIAC. Dividends declared since 2007 total $22.1 million.

During 2010 and 2011, a dividend of $5 million will be paid to 3,886 nonprofits insured with NIAC. Total dividends declared since 2007 total $17.1 million.

At its March Board meeting, the Board of Directors of the Nonprofits’ Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC) declared a $3.7 million dividend to be paid to 2,707 nonprofit insureds in California. The dividend reflects better than anticipated claims experience in the policy years 2000 through 2002.
