Employment Opportunities

The Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group is composed of Alliance Member Services (AMS), Nonprofits' Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC), the Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance, Risk Retention Group (ANI) and the National Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance (NANI). All of these companies are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits. AMS is a supporting organization providing accounting, underwriting, claims, and administrative services to NIAC, ANI, and NANI. We are a group of companies most recently funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the David & Lucile Packard Foundation to expand a successful California model nationwide.

This unique group of companies is governed by tax-exempt, charitable nonprofit organizations and is operated exclusively for their benefit. Member-insureds include SPCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, Meals on Wheels, homeless shelters, environmental groups, and many others. The collective assets of the combined group of companies stands at $331.3 million as of December 2012. AMS currently employs more than 80 full-time staff, providing products and services to more than 13,000 policyholders nationwide.

Our administrative offices are in a beautiful building with lots of natural light and fresh air. We are based in Santa Cruz, California, less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean. Our salaries and benefit package are competitive.
